Codfish with olive oil, garlic and fresh herbs




INGREDIENTS:

4 slices of codfish filet
juice of 1 lemon
extra virgin olive oil
3 cloves garlic, peeled, pressed
1 handful of fresh mint leaves
1 handful of fresh oregano leaves

METHOD:

Pour the lemon juice into a bowl, and add a triple quantity of extra virgin olive oil, garlic and the finely chopped herbs. Season it with salt and pepper.

Rub the fish slices with salt and pepper. Fry them in olive oil/butter on high heat until they got a golden brown colour.

Serve them with the oil and garlic rolls/fokhagymás kifli/baguette/rosemary garlic rolls
