Chicken Sandwich From the Oven
1 baguette or ciabatta
2-3 cloves of garlic
50g soft butter
50g mayonnaise
salt and fresh pepper
1 bunch of fresh parsley
2 chicken breasts OR tighs / or the leftover of half grilled chicken
1 tablespoon oregano
1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees (level 7).
2. Cut the breasts or tighs into small cubes, season them with salt, pepper and fry them in a pan until golden brown. If you use leftover skip this step.
3. Half the baguette lengthwise.
4. Mix the soft butter and mayonnaise with pressed garlic. Add the oregano and the parsley. Season it with salt and pepper.
5. Spread the mixture on both of the lower and upper pieces of the baguette. Put the chicken pieces on one of the halves and cover with the other half of the baguette.
6. Wrap the whole sandwich tight in aluminium foil and bake it in the hot oven for 12-15 minutes.
7. When done, let it cool for 1-2 minutes, remove the foil and slice the sandwich while it is still warm.
